The Inkhole
‘The Inkhole’ was a recreation of the seedy, underground world from STX Films and The Jim Henson Company’s collaboration ‘The Happytime Murders’ executed by Giant Spoon. Over eight sold-out days, attendees lined up on Hollywood Blvd. to mingle with a cast of over 40 live puppets and human actors in this completely immersive environment. Attendees interacted with the characters throughout the space where they could grab a signature cocktail, watch stage performers (both human and puppet), have their photo taken with two crude-mouthed puppets in the ‘VIP Room,’ get (sugar) high with the house dealer in the ‘Sugar Den,’ play Blackjack in the ‘Casino,’ get a tattoo in the ‘Tattoo Parlor,’ and more before receiving puppet-themed swag in the gift shop on the way out. Reception was outstanding from fans and press alike, rightfully earning an extension for an additional weekend.

Small Business Saturday
Between Black Friday and Cyber Monday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses nationwide. Saturday, Nov. 24 is officially Small Business Saturday, a day started in 2010 by American Express to help small businesses get more exposure during one of the biggest shopping weekends of the year. For this activation we set up a booth outside of a few small businesses in Los Angeles in order to educate shoppers of the importance of shopping local and why it benefits their communities.
